Art Gallery

I dabble in whatever art form happens to sound interesting to me at any given moment. Which really just means I have too many hobbies and don’t spend time perfecting any of them. Nevertheless I’m going to share bits of my randomness here.

Enjoy if you can. Ignore if you must. My feelings won’t be hurt, I promise.

Maybe We Can See Past What’s Broken

Digital art created in 2021.

I don’t think I have any comments to make on this one.

Seasonal Symmetry

Digital art created in 2020.

I definitely find myself leaning towards geometrical and symmetrical styles a lot of the time. Realism is something I almost never try to do, because I don’t want to spend the time it would take to make it look good.

Spring is my favorite season and it also happens to be my favorite of these designs.

Palouse Hills

Digital art created in 2020.

I’ve always loved stained glass, and once I discovered this broken glass/stained glass look it became one of my favorite styles.

I originally just wanted to do a sunset, but once I had done that I wanted to try a sunrise. Of course turning it into a moon was the next logical conclusion, so it’s now a sort of four part series.

Stained Glass Daisies

More of my broken glass stuff. (I lied about this being one of my favorite styles. It just is my favorite.) This is also digital art from 2020.

I love black so putting the daisies on a black background seemed like a good idea. I ended up redrawing the center flower for that one so it has an extra petal. I’m not sure why.

Flowers Bloom

Digital art from 2020. I find it interesting that you can take a few lines and change what they’re communicating just by changing the colors inside them.

I also painted this, but I’m too lazy to take a picture of that.

It’s very simple, but I’m a fan of simplicity sometimes.
